Position:	Clinical Supervisor
Hours:	Evening Shift / Full-Time
Description:	A professional who acts as a resource person to the staff nurse (in the absence of the Unit Director) providing direction and support during weekends, holidays, evenings, and nights. Is responsible for upholding the Standards of the Nursing Division and the individual unit. Is responsible for the Medical Center in general in the absence of the executive (there shall be an executive “on call” for incidents that warrant consultation).
Education:	BSN required or completion within a negotiated time frame. Certification in nursing specialty or nursing administration preferred. Holds permit or license to practice nursing in the State of NY. Meets Medical Center employment criteria.
Experience:	Minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
Physical Demands:	Appreciable physical effort required. Moving, lifting and assisting patients whose size and physical abilities can vary greatly. Some lifting, reaching, and stooping. Required to be on feet much of the time.
