Visiting Arnot Ogden Medical Center

Visiting schedules are different for each of our specialized units. These schedules are designed to help you recover while balancing visiting time and family support with private time for rest and medical care.

General Medical-Surgical Visiting Hours
1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Children visiting must be over 14 years of age or have special permission from the surgeon/physician.

Pediatric Visiting Hours
24 hours, 7 days for parents, guardians and grandparents.

A family member is welcome to stay with any child of any age and for your comfort, chairbeds and rocking chairs are provided in each room. A parent must always be present with admitted patients under five years of age. Parents should make arrangements with the patient’s nurse to allow for visits from siblings.

Intensive Care Unit Visiting Hours
Noon to 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. No children under 14 years of age will be allowed.

Note: Only 2 visitors at a time please, and only immediate family will be permitted.

Perinatal (Maternity) Visiting Hours
New fathers, 24 hours, 7 days, as space allows, other visitors, including siblings with supervision, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In all areas, we request that only two guests visit at a time. All must be over 14 years of age, except brothers and sisters of newborns and pediatric patients.
