What is a Volunteer?
step forward, carry out their assignments, and touch the lives of those they serve in many positive ways. Their personal rewards are intangible, their expectations of recognition modest, yet ask a volunteer why they serve and often you hear some variation of, "I'd like to make a difference."
As an Arnot Ogden Medical Center volunteer, you become an integral part of our healthcare team. Your efforts will benefit the Medical Center in continuing its commitment to excellence, while providing you with the personal satisfaction of contributing to the welfare of others. Each year, hundreds of volunteers find fulfillment, practical work experience, and companionship at Arnot Ogden Medical Center.
Teens have the opportunity to learn from this introduction to an environment of commitment and responsibility. Students gain experience for college resumes and employment applications, and accrue the volunteer hours needed to meet school course requirements.
Adults including many who are employed, share their compassion, skills, and expertise. They volunteer for personal growth, job advancement, career change or social commitment. Retirees gain personal satisfaction and reward by offering their time and experience to the Medical Center.
