A Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon, sponsored by Community Broadcasters’ WINK 106 radio station, will be broadcast March 9-10 Radio personalities Scott & Ally will be on the air from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Thursday & Friday raising funds to benefit Arnot Ogden Medical Center’s neonatal and pediatric services. The 2016 event raised more than $96,000 in pledges from the community.
“Community Broadcasters have been incredibly generous over the years, donating the airtime and talent to staff this amazing event,” said Alene Goodman, Children’s Miracle Network specialist.
The Radiothon broadcast will include interviews with families whose miracle children spent time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and pediatrics. Listeners will be encouraged to call in and pledge their financial support to Children’s Miracle Network, which helps to provide funding for these life-saving services.
“Our community comes out in force to support the most critically ill infants and children in our area and we hope to make our 2017Radiothon the most successful yet,” Goodman stated.

The Children’s Miracle Network at Arnot Ogden Medical Center has raised more than four million dollars to support health care services for infants and children in an eight county region of southern New York and northern Pennsylvania. One hundred percent of all funds raised locally stays in our community. Arnot Ogden Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cares for more than 360 premature or critically ill infants in need of highly specialized care each year.
