Gokhan Ozuner,M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship trained Colorectal surgeon who has recently joined Arnold Health group.  Dr. Ozuner is fluent in both German and Turkish, and can act as a great resource for these patients in our communities. He utilizes a host of advanced technologies to perform traditional and minimally invasive surgeries.  Dr. Ozuner, along with his entire care team strives to provide not only the best surgical care, but also a great patient experience so patients and their families can feel comfortable and confident from their first appointment through postoperative care.  

Prior to joining Arnot Health, Dr. Ozuner served as Chief of Colon and Rectal surgery at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Hackensack Medical Center and previously was staff at the Cleveland Clinic for many years.  Dr. Ozuner is actively involved in the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons and in local Colorectal and General Surgical societies and served in various capacities in the societies. Currently he is an executive council member of the New York Society of Colorectal Surgeons. He has prepared board questions for the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and served as an NIH investigator and has participated in several trials and projects sponsored by NIH.  He has over 60 publications in peer reviewed journals and is on the editorial board of several journals as well. He has been chosen the top surgeon in Cleveland and New York by Castle Connolly for many years.
