Which hospitals and facilities are part of the Arnot Health system?
Arnot Health is a regionally integrated healthcare system anchored by three main hospital campuses: Arnot Odgen Medical Center (Elmira, NY), St. Joseph's Hospital (Elmira, NY), and Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital (Bath, NY). Our network also includes Arnot Medical Services, a multi-speciality physician group practice, as well as long-term care facilities like the Taylor Health Center, and numerous primary care and specialty clinics throughout the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of Pennsylvania.
Is Arnot Health a non-profit organization?
Yes. Arnot Health is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Unlike for-profit health systems, we do not have shareholders; instead, all of our operating margins are reinvested directly back into our facilities, the latest medical technologies, and our local workforce. This status ensures our primary focus remains on the health and well-being of the Twin Tiers community.
How does the affiliation between the different hospitals benefit me as a patient?
Our hospitals work as a unified system to provide a seamless "continuum of care." By coordinating services across Arnot Ogden, St. Joseph's, and Ira Davenport, patients benefit from a shared electronic medical record, access to a wider pool of specialists, and streamlined transitions between emergency, acute, and rehabilitative care.
Who governs Arnot Health, and can I contact the administration?
Arnot Health is governed by a local Board of Directors composed of community leaders and medical professionals who ensure our services meet the needs of our region. Our executive leadership team, led by President and CEO Jonathan Lawerence, manages daily operations. For administrative inquiries, you may contact our main office via our Contact Us page.
