Arnot Ogden Medical Center has been recognized on the Forbes Top Hospitals 2026 list, a national ranking that highlights hospitals across the United States delivering high-quality care, strong patient outcomes, and exceptional value.

Published by Forbes, the annual list evaluates hospitals nationwide to help patients identify institutions providing top-tier medical care. The rankings are developed with guidance from an advisory panel of clinicians, scientists, health policy researchers, and patient advocates. The methodology uses publicly available data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Provider Data Catalog, assessing hospitals across multiple measures including patient outcomes, adherence to best practices, value of care, and patient experience.

In the 2026 rankings, Arnot Ogden Medical Center received a five-star rating in value, which measures Medicare spending on patient care during and following treatment. Higher ratings reflect hospitals that successfully maintain high-quality outcomes while managing care efficiently. The rating highlights the hospital's ability to deliver effective treatment for major conditions such as heart attacks and joint replacements while minimizing unnecessary testing and costs.

The hospital also earned five-star ratings in patient experience measures, including patients reporting that staff clearly communicated what to expect before and after outpatient procedures. Additionally, the hospital received five stars for preventing surgical site infections following colon surgery.

Arnot Ogden Medical Center also received several four-star ratings in quality and safety metrics, including preventing unplanned hospital days following discharge for pneumonia and avoiding unnecessary cardiac imaging before low-risk, non-cardiac surgery.

"This recognition from Forbes reflects the dedication and expertise of our physicians, nurses, and staff who work every day to provide exceptional care to our community," said Ronette Wiley, Chief Operating Officer of Centralus Health and President and Chief Operating Officer of Arnot Health. "Their commitment to quality, safety, and compassionate care ensures that patients in our region have access to high-value healthcare close to home."
