The public is invited to a FREE Functional Movement Screening from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 1 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital Meade Rehabilitation Center 7571 State Route 54, Bath.
Anyone who plays sports competitively or recreationally, or anyone who just wants to be more active while avoiding injury should take advantage of these free functional movement screenings. The screenings assess flexibility and strength of several body segments through a series of standardized tests to find vulnerable areas that may lead to injury during recreational activities or sports-related performance. Our Physical and Occupational Therapists will assess participants for tight muscles, pain, weakness, balance, and core strength. They can offer advice and an individualized exercise program to prevent and/or recover from injury. Participants of any age, level of recreation or sport ability are invited to attend.
