Addiction Treatment at Arnot Health
Treatment for substance abuse disorders can be a difficult process and the experts at New Dawn Inpatient Addiction Rehabilitation are specially trained to transition a patient from initial admission to recovery and beyond.
Our holistic approach uses one-on-one or group counseling to uncover the physical, social and psychological needs of each individual as well as the use of time-tested and proven programs such as the Twelve-Step program used in Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
We understand substance abuse disorders affect the whole family so family members and significant others are encouraged to become involved in the weekly family education series.
Once an individual is discharged, the staff at New Dawn coordinates with family and area agencies to create a maintenance plan to stay on the path of recovery.
New Dawn Inpatient Addiction Rehabilitation accepts most insurances as well as New York State Medicaid.

Inpatient Treatment
Inpatient treatment is the most effective and comprehensive solution for those needing 24-hour supervision and medical attention. During a patient's stay, the experienced team at New Dawn develops an individualized plan of care that is carefully designed with a successful end in mind.
Ongoing Support
Preventing relapse is the goal of all our substance abuse programs and the staff at New Dawn is ready to provide a roadmap for the future by creating links to the best service providers in Chemung County. This network of professionals is focused on providing the tools needed to navigate the next chapter of recovery.
Support Groups
Rap Group
Fridays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
This is a support group open to graduates of the program who desire the ongoing connection to treatment staff and other recovering peers. It is no cost for those who have successfully completed the New Dawn program.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
Saturdays at 5:00 p.m.

Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.
Narcotics Anonymous (NA) - Women's Meeting
Saturdays at 10 a.m.

NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using.
