Arnot Health is a sponsor for New York State Emergency Medical Services training at EMSTAR. Emergency Medical Services Training, Administration and Resources (EMSTAR) is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to optimizing the quality of pre-hospital care.
Paramedic Training

Emergency Medical Technician Training

Emergency Medical Responder

Clinical Affiliations/Internships
Students in accredited healthcare programs seeking to complete required (unpaid) clinical affiliations/internships for credit at Arnot Ogden Medical Center should call the Medical Center (607-737-4100) and ask for the appropriate department manager to inquire about arranging the experience. If so, a contract must be established and the student must contact the Manager of Volunteer Services to arrange orientation and compliance with health requirements. This applies to students in college programs for physical and occupational therapy, dietetics, social work, pharmacy, radiologic technology, medical laboratory technology, medical assisting, billing and coding, etc.
EXCEPTION: Students requesting nursing internships who are not from schools already contractually affiliated with the Arnot Ogden Medical Center School of Nursing should contact Linda MacAuslan, Arnot Health Director of Education, at 607-737-4263 or via email at lmacauslan@aomc.org to make inquiries.
EXCEPTION 2: Students requesting Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner required (unpaid) clinical affiliations/internships for credit at Arnot Ogden Medical Center should contact Dennis Tchir, Regional Student Coordinator/Assistant to the Regional Dean, at 607-737-7007, Ext. 6391. Limited opportunities are available.
