A hospital visit might be a difficult time for you and your family. We offer support services to make your visit as easy as possible and provide peace of mind before, during, and after your time with us.
Medical Social Services
Medical social workers are available to provide information and explain options related to advance directives, patient rights, and other critical decisions for your care and your family. Medical Social Services: 607-737-4132
Nutritional Service
The foods you eat can help your recovery. We make every effort to make your meals as nutritious and appealing as possible. A hospital dietitian is available to talk with you about your preferences and food choices. If your doctor orders a restricted diet, your selection of foods is more limited. Tobacco Cessation Counselors
You will not be able to smoke or chew tobacco while at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. You may talk to your practitioner about using a nicotine replacement product or one of our Tobacco Cessation Counselors will visit your room to discuss options for remaining tobacco-free.
Translation Services
Interpreting/translation services are available to help you communicate with your caregivers.
Spiritual Care
An Inter-Faith prayer is held every Monday-Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel located on 2E next to the ICU waiting room. If you are a patient, family member or friend of a patient, the Hospital Chaplain is available to provide for your spiritual and emotional needs, Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. At other times, ask your nurse to page a Chaplain. Your own clergy person, faith community leader or spiritual counselor is always welcome in the hospital. Chaplain/Spiritual Care: 607-737-4399
Continuum of Care
The Continuum of Care department assists patients and caregivers with hospital discharge planning. We are available to provide information, help with decision-making, and coordinate services. Continuum of Care: 607-737-4132
Support Groups

Classes and Educational Events
Arnot Health offers a number of classes and educational events to help patients before and after childbirth, joint replacement, bariatric surgery, and other medical events. For a complete listing, select Classes or Education in the menu from our Events Calendar.

Marianna Arnot-Ogden Community Care Program
The Community Care Program assists uninsured and underinsured members of our community who are willing, but unable to pay in full for their care.
