TrueBeam provides Arnot Health's patients a non-invasive tool for treating challenging cancer--such as pancreatic cancer, paraspinal, lung cancer, liver, breast cancer and prostate cancer -- with pinpoint accuracy. With its sophisticated architecture and enhanced versatility, TrueBeam helps your Falck Cancer Center oncologist develop the optimal radiation treatment for your particular condition.
Enhanced Accuracy
TrueBeam uses sophisticated imaging, plus patient positioning, motion management, beam shaping and dose delivery, to zero in on your tumor, performing accuracy checks every ten milliseconds throughout your treatment. If the tumor is on the lung or in another area affected by breathing, special technology compensates for movement as you inhale and exhale. These techniques keep radiation delivery precisely on target while using a 25 percent lower x-ray dose than earlier image-guidance technologies.
Less Time Per Appointment
Thanks to TrueBeam's automated functions, radiation treatments that used to take 10 to 30 minutes may now take less than two minutes, getting you home or back to work without disrupting your day. Rapid delivery also decreases the chance that a tumor will move during treatment, protecting healthy tissues and organs nearby.

Not only are treatments with TrueBeam fast, but they are designed to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible. The machine runs smoothly and quietly, allowing you to relax and even listen to music during treatment if you like.
