Visitor Restrictions EnactedFriday, May 22, 2020
At the direction of the New York State Department of Health, effective immediately:
NO HOSPITAL OR NURSING HOME VISITATION IS ALLOWED
Exceptions for end-of-life situations or parents visiting the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Maternity, or Pediatrics, which must be approved by the hospital’s Nursing Supervisor.
In addition, anyone entering the facility will:
- have a brief medical evaluation
- be signed in/signed out
- be given a visitor’s badge
While we are sensitive to the separation that these new visiting restrictions may place on you and your loved ones who may be in our hospitals or nursing homes, we are taking these extraordinary measures at this time to keep everyone safe as we work with our partners at the local and state level to contain the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
